LEGAL STUDIES TEACHERS’ CONFERENCE

LSTC is back for 2021, both in-person and online! Join us for a day of interesting and relevant professional development:
Friday, 14th May, 8:45am to 3:00pm Undumbi Room, Parliamentary Annexe, Brisbane; or live streamed.

Information and How to Register

This year's speakers are:

Magistrate Jane Bentley, Deputy Coroner of Queensland, as the Keynote speaker;
Prof. Ciaran O'Faircheallaigh, Griffith University, on "Governance";
Kevin Rose, Barrister and Regional Manager for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Legal Service;
Sgt Karine Evans, Queensland Police Service, on "Police Powers, & Processes for Suspects"; and
Joseph Crowley, Barrister and Bond University, on "Sentencing"
Plus some promotional information from Queensland Parliament, Boggo Road Gaol, Supreme Court Library and UQ Pro Bono Centre.

Delegates can attend in-person (which includes morning tea and lunch), or via online live streaming.

In-person registration closes May 7; Online closes May 13.

Online payment via credit card; invoice payment via direct debit or cheque.

Should Covid regulations prevent the conference going ahead in-person, we intend to proceed online. We can issue in-person delegates a refund, or transfer your ticket to online and refund the difference.
