ANZELA NSW will be holding an education/law seminar based on an authentic hypothetical scenario related to the difficulties related to attacks on staff via social media.

The panel will be will be provided with an authentic hypothetical scenario related to the difficulties related to attacks on staff via social media. The panel draw on their relevant areas of expertise in the school and legal sectors to dissect and discuss the administrative and legal issues that arise.
To date Michael Waterhouse, Director, Legal Services NSW Department of Education has agreed to facilitate the discussion and Julie Ross, Principal Kogarah High School and Lawyer, Jacquie Seemann, Partner, Thomson Geer will appear on the panel. A third panel member representing a police Youth Liaison Officer will complete the speakers.
Audience members will have opportunities to join the discussion and ask questions of the panel.
Please note: Lawyers are eligible for 1.5 CPD points, and for educators 1.5 hours of Professional Development.
